Adults and blankets in their face???? help please?

My husband is 23 and i never knew of his blanket problem until we married and i moved 12 states away with him, well now i know he puts the thing in his face every day after work (under his nose), he also has one of our blankets he came to love all torn up and ratty on one end that he puts in his fingers and touches! Now he does this all day long and in bed if he gets out of bed and getting ready for work while he dresses he hangs on to this corner and does whatever then comes back to put it in his face! when we sleep at night he holds on to it and put's it in his face and turns his back to me to make this blanket in a ball and cuddle it and not me! I cant deal with this for the rest of my life i need help i have tried to make a deal with him that he only does it at night and during the day i don't have to look at him with it in his face or some nights he needs to hold me and not it! He even takes the friggin thing and wraps his head up in in with only his eyes sticking out while he lay's there playing with his corner in one hand and holding the other under his nose!
