Would you rather shoot a rabbit in the head or chest?

Which way of killing the rabbit do you think is faster and for what reasons???... I will be shooting tons of rabbits up in the hills on my friends huge piece of property in Southern California with a Beeman Dual Caliber (.177 & .22) Air Rifle and Remington.Airmaster 77 Air Rifle... No one around to hear a thing and it is on private property... I can't remember the acreage but for the rolling granite hills of Southern California,it's quite large to say the least... If there is rabbit season in Southern California,I sure don't about it... Got a big bunny the other night from 50+ feet out without a scope and a broken iron site... I was real tired so I guess my hand was steady and very calm... I Flanked him with my flashlight, laid on my belly, shot three times and nailed him on the fourth... Once hit,he snapped back about 3 feet,on to his back squealing... Once I realized that I got him,I ran as fast I could and when he saw me get close he started bounding 3 to 4 feet in the air,in all directions... I grabbed in mid air and pinned him to the ground... I did this so it wouldn't bite me... I wasn't wearing gloves at the time...... I was using my Remington Airmaster 77 that shoots at 750 fps, loaded with Predator Polymag .177 pellet... The craziest thing about the shot was the fact that I could not find an entry wound, just an area where the fur had separated and the skin was a dark purple color in one little area... I think the Polymag broke the bones in his chest because he died in under 2 minutes... I guess Predator Polymags are known to shatter bones in small game... Thanks for your answer... Lot's of love.... Olivia
