Can the brain manually send electrical pulses to neurons?
Many times I have focused on a neuron on my arm (not a specific one just a small area) with the intention of sending an electrical pulse to that neuron (as I know this is how the brain controls the muscles). When I do this I am not trying to move my arm or muscles, just send a pulse to a neuron to see if it is possible to do so without that pulse having a directive or order for the body to carry out. When I do this I feel a tingling in that area of my arm, is this just in my head or is it possible to send an anonymous (with no info in it) pulse to a neuron?
